"'That is of enormous importance', said Holmes,
making a note upon his shirt-cuff."(NOBL)
The Shirt-Cuff Notes is the newsletter for The Copenhagen Speckled Gang, which
is a scion society of the Danish Baker Street Irregulars.

"We have known for some time that a clever gang was at work," said the inspector.(ENGR)
'The Gang', as we used to call ourselves, was founded June 7th 2000 by 8 enthusiastic Sherlockians in the
Copenhagen area. We chose this name because:
- Copenhagen - well, that is obvious.
- Speckled, because we are a group of very different people.
- Gang, because we like the small-time criminal sound of it - we don't want to be TOO nice.
- And finally, taken the allusion to 'The Speckled Band' into account,
we are perhaps allowed to be a little venomous from time to time.
The purpose is, like the Danish BSI, to strengthen the Sherlock Holmes research
and the interest in Sherlock Holmes in Denmark by discussions and exchange of ideas.
We gather 4-6 times a year for an informal meeting.
The Speckled Gang is open to anyone who is a member of the Danish BSI.
Guests may be invited to meetings and other activites.
